The Wright Center proudly offers an ACGME/AOA-dually-accredited, three-year Family Medicine residency (Allopathic and Osteopathic tracks) in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Formerly known as the Wyoming Valley Family Medicine residency program, The Wright Center assumed academic sponsorship of this established entity in July 2013.
Founded in 1974, this program has shown commitment to the people of NEPA in its years since inception. This sponsorship with The Wright Center will result in new training venues, innovative patient continuity, and growth in both faculty and resident numbers.
Led by Richard English, MD, and Lisa Robertson, DO, the Family Medicine Regional Network residency is designed to prepare residents to serve their community as primary care physicians. It also forms an excellent basis for further specialization.
Our Regional Family Medicine Network is dually accredited by the ACGME and AOA.
